About
You’re probably aware that PocketBase is currently the newest cool kid on the block when it comes to micro-backends. While it already comes with with a fantastic UI (better than Supabase or Firebase, IMO), but I thought it was missing the ability to show the database architecture in a graphical form, easy to parse in a quick glance. That’s why I created PocketBaseUML, a free, open-source UML diagram generator/viewer. The application can be used online at pocketbase-uml.github.io to connect to PocketBase instances running on HTTPS, or you can run it on your machine with npx pocketbase-uml@latest to connect to local unsecured PocketBase instances through HTTP. If you don’t want to connect directly to the PocketBase server, there’s also the option of importing a collections.json file exported from PocketBase. The project is still in the early stage, there are still potential new features to be added and needs to be kept in sync with new upcoming PocketBase features. If you find the application useful and would like to see new features added to it, please don’t hesitate to show your support by sponsoring my work on GitHub.
