This has the potential to save lives, which I believe should be the most intriguing quality of my Backdrop entry. I founded Power Bob LLC, bootstrapping it with my own money. I worked as an Electrical Engineer for 4 years and have degrees in CS and ECE. The focus for the company is to start in New England with aspirations to be worldwide. The main innovation of the pocketable-class wearable is its incredibly low cost—100 units for less than $1000. The NECYVERSE Chip serves as marketing material, with Power Bob LLC aiming to support YPAA committees pro-bono and focus on substance abuse centers for income. Treatment centers are the target customers, with the wearable provided for free to those in need. We don’t want to make money from people dying from alcohol and drug addiction. It’s a $43 billion untapped market. In recovery, people receive chips for sobriety. This one-of-a-kind product, familiar in the community, received fantastic feedback. I’m developing a pocketable-class wearable using STM32 and a companion app for recovery events, centralizing info on thousands of events across the country that previously had no central place.
