Cross-border payments have inefficiencies and delays mostly because usually involve multiple intermediaries, leading to higher costs and slower transaction times. Our platform provides a seamless solution for users looking to make instant payments using stablecoins. By allowing users to send stablecoins to our platform, which then facilitates payments through traditional instant payment systems, Lupago streamlines the process, reducing costs and enhancing the speed of transactions. This solves the pain point of delayed and costly cross-border payments, offering a more efficient and user-friendly alternative for individuals and businesses engaged in international transactions. Our first version is focused on Brazil. The instant payment system in Brazil is called Pix and today is by far the most used payment method in Brazil, accepted by the vast majority of vendors (it’s quite common for vendors not even accept credit card payments but do accept Pix). Foreign individuals and businesses face challenges in using Pix primarily due to the system's heavy reliance on regulatory requirements.
