We aim to create a chatbot that can understand and generate speech with emotions, enabling an empathic GPT. We are going to do this by combining recent advancements in multi-modal LLMs and speech generation presented in the following papers (https://arxiv.org/abs/2210.13438, https://arxiv.org/abs/2405.09818)
