Gluon is a new stablecoin protocol inspired by nuclear physics. The protocol allows users to fission an existing asset into a stable sub-asset (its neutron) and a volatile sub-asset (its proton), to fusion these sub-assets together back into the original asset, and to beta-decay one sub-asset into the other. The protocol behaves similarly to the dual of a liquidity pool.
