About
This project delves into the evolution of video game development from classics 40 years ago to the present, focusing on facial animation, previously absent in pixel art. A significant innovation has been achieved by enabling characters to ‘speak’ and express emotions through pixel art animation. Furthermore, the character has been developed to autonomously interact with its environment, optimized under the open-source philosophy. Modularity in programming is a key aspect, allowing for future expansions in animations. Environmental testing has enhanced the character’s adaptability, and the possibility of adding more sensory features like ‘audition’ is being considered for the future.
