I am refining processes for long-text summarization using 7b llm, consumer hardware, prioritizing open-source tool-chains. For each step in my journey, I"m testing various configuration changes along with various top ranking models, to determine what are variable which promote the highest quality "comprehensive bulleted notes with headings and terms in bold". Through an iterative process, I'm optimizing each component of the task, and learning the inns and outs of various self-hosted experiences. I'm also publishing detailed walk-throughs, example code, and completed book summaries.
