About
Most existing multi-chain solutions support only EVM-based chains and lack decentralization, trustlessness, and flexibility. The Carrier3 Protocol aims to develop a solution that allows developers to create multi-chain dApps capable of operating on all chains, encompassing both EVM and non-EVM chains. Cross-chain transactions will unfold as follows: 1- A transaction is carried out on the source chain, which logs details necessary for execution on the destination chain. 2- An application on the Muon Network retrieves the data from the source chain and generates a Schnorr TSS signature, enabling the user or developer to initiate a transaction on the destination chain. The validator stack is modular, allowing for the integration of additional validators. 3- The user or developer executes the transaction on the destination chain, completing the cross-chain transaction. The Carrier3 Protocol will be a flexible, public, chain-agnostic protocol with a modular security stack. Unlike other existing tools, it will not require individual support for different chains. In the long term, it aspires to become the TCP/IP for web3.
