About
Keeping tabs on your activity in the web3 ecosystem is a fragmented, opaque experience. Existing portfolio tracking tools have varied support for chains, tokens and DeFi positions. Block explorer sites often only work with a single chain and are hard to interpret without specialized technical knowledge. Dapp frontends often have fragmented wallet support, show incomplete historical activity, risk censorship by relying on centralized infrastructure, or fail to disclose in advance which smart contracts, indexing services, or blockchain node providers are used behind the scenes. Blockhead is an open-source web app that surfaces information from any available web3 infrastructure in an easily readable way. The Portfolio view shows tokens, DeFi positions, and NFTs from any number of wallets and chains in a single page. The Explorer lets you browse addresses, blocks, transactions and smart contracts from any EVM-based chain, including Ethereum and many layer-2 rollups. The Apps view lets you explore data from and interact directly with popular web3 apps and protocols, including verified smart contracts. Information throughout Blockhead is interlinked as much as possible, with dedicated URLs for ENS domains, IPFS content, Lens handles, DIDs, verifiable credentials and a growing list of web3-native entities. There is no single centralized backend powering Blockhead; instead, YOU have control which data sources are used in the Preferences.
